Corn Chowder
Ingredients
2 cans (16 ounces each) whole kernel corn, drained
3 medium potatoes, chopped into bite-size pieces
1 onion, chopped
1 cup diced ham
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups milk
1/4 cup margarine
Pepper, to taste
Directions
Combine the corn, potatoes, onion, ham and chicken broth in Crock Pot. Season with pepper to taste. Cook on low for about eight hours. Stir in milk and butter and continue to cook about one more hour.
Suggestions
If you like a creamier soup, use a hand-held blender and puree the soup until it reaches the desired consistency.
