Corn Chowder (Crock Pot)

2 cans (16 ounces each) whole kernel corn, drained
3 medium potatoes, chopped into bite-size pieces
1 onion, chopped
1 cup diced ham
2 cups of chicken broth
2 cups milk
¼ cup margarine
Pepper to taste

directions
Combine the corn, potatoes, onion, ham, and chicken broth in Crock Pot. Season with pepper to taste. Cook on LOW for about 8 hours. Stir in milk and butter and continue to cook about 1 more hour.

suggestions
If you like a creamier soup, use a hand-held blender and puree the soup until it reaches the desired consistency.
