Hot and Spicy Pecans
Tangy pecans perfect for your holiday party!
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup pecan halves
2 tablespoons whiskey
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
A couple drops hot pepper sauce
Directions
Melt the butter in a skillet. Pour in pecans. Saute on low heat, stirring constantly, until pecans are lightly browned. Pour in whiskey and cook another minute. Add the soy sauce, salt and hot pepper sauce. Remove from heat and cook slightly. Pour the pecans onto paper towel-lined cookie sheets. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
Suggestions
These pecans would make a wonderful holiday gift for someone special. Place in a pretty tin or a mason jar and seal with a ribbon.
