Sweet Bourbon Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
1 cup bourbon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup ketchup
2 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
Black pepper, to taste
Directions
Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Cover and keep refrigerated until ready to use.
Suggestions
Use to glaze grilled or barbecued meats as they cook. Also great as a dip for cooked meats.
